Vice Principal's Anniversary Message – Marcia Detry Fogah (Mrs.)

As we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Jessie Ripoll Primary School, we pause to think of the many exciting accomplishments of our students over the past 30 years. Accomplishments brought about through the caring and nurturing of our dedicated and devoted staff. As one of the longest serving members, I know that these collective achievements are, in large measure, responsible for our ever-growing tradition and reputation at Jessie Ripoll Primary School.

Our young boys and girls leave us confident and courageous in their quest for excellence. They are audacious in the pursuit of their goals and positive in their abilities and approach to the next phase of their lives. This is what we will truly celebrate and commemorate in our anniversary year.

Over the years, JRPS’ deep sense of family has fostered an extraordinary spirit of belonging, strong ties and friendships that last a lifetime. Our pupils are in an exceptional family that starts when they first enter the school and continues at school leaving and beyond.

For thirty years, JRPS has inspired ideas and moulded young pupils’ minds. We have encouraged them to focus on their supreme being and through faith, practice justice, truth and mercy; principles on which our school is built.

Throughout the 2009-2010 school year, we’ll treasure this mission as we celebrate.

I take this opportunity to thank all stakeholders especially my colleagues who have been a tower of strength over the thirty years.

We invite you all to view our website for reflections and we look forward to all of you for your continued support. May God’s mercy and strength pave our journey.

Head Boy's Anniversary Message – Keeno Downer

I am very proud to be the Head Boy of Jessie Ripoll Primary School this year. It is a great responsibility because I am the role model to over 900 pupils. As head boy, I promise to work hard along with the Head Girl and the other prefects. I will be a valuable member of the school’s disciplinary committee.

I look forward to seeing all my fellow school mates achieve success in all areas. Thanks to all the teachers for their support and I promise to fulfill my duties to the best of my abilities.

Head Girl's Anniversary Message – Mojuhme Brown

A true leader is one who leads from the front and sets examples for others to emulate.

I am immensely proud and excited to be the Head Girl of Jessie Ripoll Primary School during this our 30th anniversary.

It is my goal this year to lead from the front and to do my part in helping my fellow school and class mates to adhere to the rules and implement other plans that will add to the development of our school.

We here at Jessie Ripoll are fortunate to have a loving support network and so I want to say thanks to all our parents for making the right choice. Thanks to our teachers, the security team, canteen staff, the janitors, office personnel and administrators for being extended members of our family.
