Jessie Ripoll Primary is located in the parish of Kingston. It is situated at the corner of South Camp and Deanery Roads. It is bordered in its urban setting by the Allman Town, Vineyard Town and Franklin Town communities.

The Jessie Ripoll Primary School opened its doors to the public on September 24, 1979. It presently has a staff complement of twenty eight (28) teachers which includes a Guidance Counsellor.

The majority of the staff has a first degree. There are also three clerical workers, two regular watchmen (employed during school hours) who are paid by the Ministry of Education, security (non- school hours) who are paid by the PTA and the school from annual contributions made by parents, four cooks and a supervisor, as well as four ancillary workers (two of which are part-time workers) and two grounds men.

The school caters for children from year 6 to 12 years, and its aim is to provide a constructive learning environment which respects the uniqueness of each child. It also caters for the children's individual learning needs by helping children to succeed and by encouraging the development of self-confidence.

We encourage all parents to take an active part in your children's learning.
