In addition to our rich academic curriculum and extra curricular activities such as dance, karate, cricket, football, netball, track, rugby, and swimming there are also various clubs that enrich the lives of our students. These include Brigadaiers, Cadets, Red Cross, Builders Club, Scouts, Spanish, 4-H, Debating/Quiz, and Brownies to name a few.
Red Cross
The club meets every Thursday at 1:30pm. At the meetings, games and discussions are done. The motto, pledge and health laws are reinforced at each meeting. In December 2007 gifts were taken to the patients at the Bustamante Children's Hospital.
Builders Club
The club was started in 1992. It is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Eastern Kingston and Port Royal. The club's objective is to foster the development of leadership and community service in the students. The club has a membership of 78 menmbers made up of grade 3-6 students.
The Builder's club has been engaged in school projects such as:
adopting a green area on the school plant
wiping tables after lunch
collecting tin foods and toiletries for needy children
Scouts (Teacher in charge-Mrs. D. Morrison-Muir)
On November 12, 2008, leaders from the Scout headquarters and other stake holders met at school.Since then the group has met on a regular basis. The boys are from grade 3 and grade 4.
Regular meetings are held on Thursdays at 1:00pm. To date the boys have participated in two training camps which were hosted at the Cadet headquarters in Up Park Camp. As a result of the camps, the nine boys together have received a total of thirty (30) badges.
Cadet
This is a fairly new club which was started in June 2008. Total membership is 30.

QuIz (Teacher in charge Mr. O. Henry)
The quiz team consists of 10 members from grades 5 & 6. The team competes in school as well as off site. The club has participated in the KFC quiz show and the Junior School Challenge Quiz.
K-Kids
The club started on May 31, 2007 with 24 students. Present membership 39 - Sponsors- Kiwanis Club of East Kingston and Port Royal. Regular meetings are held each Thursday at 1:00pm

Participated in Speak Up, Speak Out AIDS awareness campaign-

A promise ceremony was held in February 2008 for 5 girls. Regular meetings are held each Thursday at 1:00pm. The girls participate in games, songs, drama and craft which help to bring out the eight point program.

Spelling
As of March 2010-there are eighteen clubs.
Parents are asked to join the parent volunteer pool to help in clubs of their choice. Speak with your class teachers.
